Question: Is it okay to use HQ 4% (Hydroquinone) while on laser hair removal? I’ve recently started to get laser hair removal for my bikini area and the laser treatments are usually 4-6 weeks apart. Is it then okay for me to use HQ 4% during this interval in order to lighten the discoloration of the area? Or should I stop for a certain amount of time before getting the laser treatments? I tried checking on the no no hair removal review but I found nothing related to my question.

Answer: There is no harm in using the HQ as such. Anyway the laser spots dark hair on light skin the easiest. So if you have dark colored hair then in fact lightening your skin up would help you.

Just make sure though that you are not allergic to the product. And stop applying it 4 to 5 days before and after your laser appointment. One more thing, never lighten the hair during the laser.
